Prosecutors said on Monday that a former Brooklyn assistant district attorney allegedly groped and forcibly kissed a woman, according to the Daily News.
The incident allegedly took place when Chrismy Sagaille was driving home with the victim from a baby shower in April 2017, Staten Island prosecutors assigned to the case said. “He grabbed my face and put his tongue in my mouth,” the victim testified.
Sagaille, a former sex crimes prosecutor, has been charged with forcible touching and third degree sexual abuse. His defense attorney Ken Montgomery said, “with a manufactured case, you can ruin someone’s life.” He added that the charges were unwarranted.
Sagaille sued the newspaper for its coverage of the case, the Daily News reported.
