Fire in kitchen of popular Dyker Heights restaurant injures two

A fire occurred inside a popular Dyker Heights restaurant, leaving two people injured.

On Sunday, June 3 at around 1:45 p.m., firefighters responded to the blaze in the kitchen on the first floor of Tommaso Ristorante, near Bay 8th Street and 86th Street. FDNY had the fire under control shortly after they arrived.

One of the victims was transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn after sustaining minor burns. EMS also treated another victim.
