In light of an outbreak of canine influenza in Brooklyn, a free vaccine clinic for dogs (and also cats) is being held at Brooklyn Borough Hall on Joralemon Street on Saturday, June 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Symptoms include coughing, mild lethargy, a drop in appetite, possibly a fever and a discharge from the nose and eyes. Serious secondary symptoms can also develop. If your pet appears to be ill, keep him/her away from other dogs for at least three weeks.
