Huge development heralds a new Sheepshead Bay

One Brooklyn Bay, a new 28-story building in Sheepshead Bay, is now open for business, offering both condos and rental units. The condos and penthouses are owned by Muss Development, while the apartments are owned by nationwide apartment builder Avalon Bay, according to Brooklyn Daily.
The building also includes a swimming pool, a dog run, a gym, a children’s play area and a bocce court. The building, at Sheepshead Bay Road near Voorhies Avenue, also has a view of the bay. Most of the buyers are from southern Brooklyn, said Jason Muss of Muss Development. One Brooklyn Bay is part of a new wave of development in the area since Superstorm Sandy, Brooklyn Daily said.
