WATCH: Suspect sought for assaulting a 73-year-old man inside Dyker gas station

Cops are looking to identify a man they say is wanted for questioning in connection to an assault of an elderly man that occurred inside a Dyker Heights gas station on Monday, May 14.

According to police, at around 6:25 p.m. inside the station – located at 13th Avenue and 65th Street – a 73-year-old man was pushed to the ground by an unknown man following a verbal dispute.

The suspect – described as being approximately 35 years old and six feet tall with short black hair, a black beard and large build – fled the scene.

He was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray pants and black and white sneakers.

The victim was transported by emergency medical services to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn where he was treated for minor injuries.
