Downtown Brooklyn cowboys and cowgirls have surely noticed that Hill Country Barbecue Market and Hill Country Fried Chicken, both at 345 Adams St., have been closed since December. Some may have wondered whether it would reopen again. Well, it turns out that the two stores will soon be combined and replaced with ‘an Austin-style food hall” called Hill Country Food Park, according to NY Eater.

The place will contain six different stalls, offering barbecue, fried chicken, tacos, donuts, coffee, pizza, burgers and salads as well as a full bar. Live music, which Hill Country’s Manhattan restaurant offers, will later be heard here as well. The Hill Country chain, according to its website, honors the food and music of “Central Texas’ barbecue belt,” including Austin.  When it reopens, drop on in – Randy Travis, Willie Nelson and Lyle Lovett might even show up!
