Popular Vietnamese pho joint An Choi is branching out from the Lower East Side with a new shop on Greenpoint Avenue.

The new restaurant will be called Di An Di, which basically translates to “Let’s go eat.” Unlike most Vietnamese restaurants, which serve other dishes such as banh mi sandwiches, Di An Di will put the Southeast Asian nation’s ubiquitous rice noodle soup front and center.

“The focus is pho and more pho, plus some non-pho noodle soups,” says Grub Street.

One item, Pho Thin Hanoi, pays tribute to a  famous soup served at the Hanoi restaurant of the same name, but its topping of fatty brisket and a poached egg doesn’t sound like it would make people thin.

Di An Di is at 68 Greenpoint Ave. between West and Franklin streets.
