Clinton Hall, a beer hall that has been opening locations all over town, has now added a fifth location at the Pod Hotel at 247 Metropolitan Ave. in Williamsburg. The bar has a large outdoor space, games like Jenga and a giant chess board, according to NY Eater.

It will also have big-screen TVs, which are sure to attract sports fans on game days. “Even though it was not packed, the loud music and openness of the beer hall made it feel exciting and the games they have littered around the entire place add to the fun,” said Tony R, commenting on Yelp about another Clinton Hall branch at 230 East 51st St., Manhattan.

Subway scuffle leads to $2 million lawsuit

A 13-year-old girl who says an MTA booth attendant at the Smith-Ninth streets subway station assaulted her is reportedly suing the transit agency for $2 million. Video from the scene on March 15 shows a man grabbing the teen, identified as Analia Muhammad, by the shoulders or neck and throwing her.

“When I got a call that my daughter was assaulted by an MTA worker, I was totally outraged,” the victim’s mother, Herkema Powel, told PIX 11.

However, the clerk, Rida Elzeck, says Muhammad had assaulted him. Elzeck is now being charged with misdemeanor assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child. Well-known Court Street attorney Sanford Rubenstein confirmed to the Brooklyn Eagle that he is representing Muhammad.
