Just in time for summer — the perfect summer bar.

The Springs, inspired by the style and vibe of 1950s Palm Springs, has just opened on Franklin Street in Greenpoint, filled with leather banquettes and mid-century modern sofas. But the real oasis is outdoors, thanks to a massive outdoor patio with plenty of seating.

“This is a breath of fresh air,” one customer, Karolina Kierzkowska, said on a recent warm day. “I can definitely see myself spending many summer afternoons in the Springs yard.”

Cocktails ($13) stick to the desert theme: there’s an Old Fashioned Holiday, with Jamaican rum, bourbon and absinthe; the Lawn Flamingo with mezcal, Campari, pineapple and rum; and the Desert Springs, with tequila, vermouth, cucumber, mint and Thai chili. Slushies ($13) include the Sunburn, with tequila, aloe vera, Curacao and lime; and the Scooby Snack, a pina colada, and Coca-Cola float. Cocktails and slashes are available in pitchers that serve 10 for $95.

A food truck operates from noon until 2 a.m. (try the Springs Burger, $9).
