SEE IT! Saint Ann’s ‘Puppet Parade’ electrifies Brooklyn Heights
More than 100 students from Saint Ann’s School turned Montague Street into a roving circus as the school celebrated its 33rd annual puppet parade on Tuesday.
Founder Ronnie Asbell told the Brooklyn Eagle that she began the parade simply for fun.
“I started teaching puppetry here 34 years ago,” Asbell said. “That was my gift to the school, to just kind of bring the whole school, the whole community together and experience joy together.”
