Presiding Justice Scheinkman speaks at Queens Bar Association dinner
The Queens County Bar Association hosted its annual dinner at Terrace on the Park in Queens last Thursday where Presiding Justice Alan Scheinkman, of the Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department, gave the keynote speech.
After Justice Scheinkman’s speech, retired Justice Sidney F. Strauss installed Hilary Gingold as president along with the rest of the slate that included Maria-Eleana First as president-elect, Clifford M. Welden as vice president, Karina E. Alomar as secretary and Richard H. Lazarus as treasurer.
Following the officers’ installation, the board of trustees was installed. Gingold gave a speech and made a presentation to outgoing president Gregory J. Newman.
