Maimonides dedicates Erminia Rivera Breast Imaging Center of Excellence

Maimonides Medical Center dedicated the Erminia Rivera Breast Imaging Center of Excellence on April 9.

Erminia Rivera is a trustee of Maimonides, and the chair of The Gilbert Rivera Charitable Foundation. The foundation, started to continue the legacy of Erminia’s late husband Gilbert, dedicated the Gilbert Rivera Pavilion at Maimonides in 2011, and has contributed to other causes and organizations, including Medgar Evers College, the Bed Stuy Campaign Against Hunger and the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Rivera is also the owner of Park Ave Building Supplies LLC.

Maimonides offers many treatments for breast cancer, including diagnostic services, surgery, radiation and systemic therapies and patient support programs.
