Fire pension fund set to exit MetroTech office

The New York City Fire Pension Fund will soon leave its office at 9 MetroTech Center in Downtown Brooklyn for a new home at One Battery Park Plaza, according to Commercial Observer.
The pension fund, which became independent of FDNY in 2016, has been looking for its own offices for more than a year, Commercial Observer reported. It is now located within FDNY headquarters at MetroTech. The fund will relocate 60 employees to the new offices as well as 12 physicians who are independent consultants.
