A woman was run over by a train when she fell onto the Brooklyn subway tracks on Sunday afternoon, authorities said. The woman fell onto the tracks as a Manhattan-bound C train came barreling into the High Street — Brooklyn Bridge station in Downtown Brooklyn around 2 p.m. The 40-year-old victim was removed from underneath the train and rushed to New York Methodist Hospital in stable condition, police said. Bystanders observed the woman being taken out on a stretcher with a neck brace on, reports the New York Post. It was not immediately clear what caused her to fall.
