Two unprovoked attacks against Orthodox Jews in Crown Heights were reported last week and have upset the community, according to ABC7.

In the first, Levi Backman was punched several times in the face on Eastern Parkway. In the second, which happened Saturday morning, Menachem Moskowitz was beaten while returning home from Sabbath prayers. He casually said hello to another man, but the man, who soon attacked him, said, “I hate Jews, you stole my money, call my mortgage, my house,” ABC7 reported. Two people walking by sent to help, allowing him to Moskowitz to get away. The Anti-Defamation League is offering a $5,000 reward to find the people responsible for both crimes.
