VATICAN CITY – The Pope Meets a Llama: Pope Francis puts his hands together as he looks at a llama upon his arrival in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican for his weekly general audience, Wednesday. Three men from the South Tyrol region of northern Italy walked with three llamas in a two-month pilgrimage to reach the Vatican.

FRANCE – Flight Crews Strike: Air France planes are parked on the tarmac at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, in Roissy, near Paris, Wednesday. About 30 percent of Air France flights scheduled on Wednesday are expected to be canceled as flight crews and ground staff started a seventh day of strike.
