The event Wednesday morning led a nearby school to cancel classes for the day. The church’s leader, the Rev. Sean Moon, said in a prayer that God gave people the right to bear arms.

The festival signifies the arrival of spring, end of winter and for many a festive day to meet others and forgive and forget. It is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest.
