MOZAMBIQUE – Poisoned Vultures: In this photo provided by the Endangered Wildlife Trust and taken on Sunday, the corpses of poisoned vultures are piled up in the Mbashene communal area in Mozambique. Conservationists say at least 87 critically endangered vultures have died after consuming poison planted in the carcass of a poached elephant. 

BELARUS – Bird Flies in Freezing Weather: A blue tit flies among dried plants covered with hoarfrost near the Belarus village of Dukora, some 40 km (25 miles) southeast of Minsk, Monday. The temperatures in Belarus reached – 19 Celsius (-2,2 degrees Fahrenheit).

The annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) runs from 26 February – 1 March and draws over 2,300 exhibitors to Barcelona, including industry heavyweights Samsung, Huawei and Nokia.
