A 28-year-old male car service driver had his vehicle shot at near Second Avenue and 40th Street by a masked perp who stole several items from the car before fleeing the scene in another vehicle on Sunday, February 20.

Reports say that at around 12:45 a.m., while the driver was going to pick up a passenger, a black Hyundai Sonata cut him off. One masked perp got out of the driver’s seat and, using a rifle, fired four gunshots into the passenger side windshield and one into the front tire.

The perp then removed property from the victim’s vehicle, telling him that there were three additional armed individuals in the car. The perps then fled eastbound on 40th Street.

No arrests have been made.
