WATCH: Cops still seeking suspect in December Bay Ridge slashing

Cops are still seeking the suspect they say slashed a 33-year-old man in the face following a fight on Fifth Avenue in early December.

According to police, just before 3 a.m. on Friday, December 8, the suspect allegedly sliced the victim over his right eye using an unknown sharp object following a dispute near the vicinity of 81st Street and Fifth Avenue. The perp is said to have fled on foot southbound on the avenue. The victim, who suffered a laceration above his eye, was treated at NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, formerly Lutheran Medical Center.

The suspect is described by authorities in a release sent out on Wednesday, January 24, as a clean shaven, light-skinned male, approximately 20 to 23 years old. He is approximately 5’10” and was last seen wearing a baseball cap, dark colored clothing, black sneakers and a dark colored backpack.
