An 892-pound Bluefin tuna has sold for 36.5 million yen ($320,000) in what may really be Tsukiji market’s last auction at its current site in downtown Tokyo, local media reports said Friday.

NEW JERSEY — Battling Blazes: Steam from a Newark firefighter’s breath is seen as he pulls a hose after helping battle an early morning fire on Friday in Newark. The fire broke out in a vacant structure in Newark early Friday morning in the area of 9th Avenue and South 14th Street and spread to two adjacent structures. Gusty winds carried the flames to two buildings across the street.

CZECH REPUBLIC — Christmas Season Ends: Men dressed as the Three Kings ride on camels during a procession of the Three Kings across the Charles Bridge in Prague on Friday. The procession, which annually marks the end of the country’s Christmas festivities, is a re-enactment of the journey of the Three Kings to visit the infant Jesus. A massive winter storm swept from the Carolinas to Maine on Thursday, dumping snow along the coast and bringing strong winds that will usher in possible record-breaking cold. 

FLORIDA – Manatees Keep Warm: Manatees huddle up at the Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River, Fla., to stay warm in the natural spring on Thursday. Three Sisters Springs is part of the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge and is a manatee sanctuary in the winter where Manatees swim to escape the cold water. As Florida experiences unusually cold temperatures and even snow in some parts, wildlife officials are keeping a close eye on vulnerable manatees and sea turtles. 

HUNGARY – Buffaloes Herded Out of Habitat: A herd of some 120 buffaloes are driven in Kiskunsag National Park from their winter habitat in Szabadszallas to the animal farm of Fulopszallas, 87 kms south of Budapest, Hungary, Thursday.
