An 18th Avenue law firm got in the holiday spirit on Tuesday, December 5.

The staff of Strazzullo Law Firm, P.C. was joined by friends, family, clients and area residents on Tuesday at the local business’ annual Christmas tree lighting.

The event was hosted by Monsignor David Cassato and Monsignor Jamie Gigantiello and featured special guest appearances by local politicians like State Senator Marty Golden and even Saint Nick himself.

Santa Claus was on hand, staff said, to give gifts to the children while music played courtesy of DJ Cousin Anthony. Lucy’s Sausage was also on hand for the lighting.

“It was very nice,” remarked Rosanne Miller of Strazzullo Law Firm. “Every year we have the same celebration and it’s always a really nice, festive time.”

The annual lighting, she said, was started by the firm’s president and founder Salvatore Strazzullo out of appreciation.

“He wants to give back to the community,” said Miller. “He loves doing it for the children – he’s a father of two kids now but even before that, he’s always loved doing this for them. He appreciates everyone’s support in the neighborhood.”

Strazzullo Law Firm is located at 7101 18th Avenue.
