PAKISTAN – Oil Tanker Explosion: Pakistani rescue workers examine the site of an oil tanker explosion at a highway near Bahawalpur, Pakistan, Sunday. An overturned oil tanker burst into flames in Pakistan on Sunday, killing more than 100 people who had rushed to the scene of the highway accident to gather leaking fuel, an official said.

CHINA – Offerings for the Dead: Relatives burn incense and paper offerings to appease the dead at the site of a landslide in Xinmo village in Maoxian County in southwestern China’s Sichuan Province, Sunday. Crews searching through the rubble left by a landslide that buried a mountain village under tons of soil and rocks in southwestern China on Saturday found bodies, but more than 100 people remained missing.
