Brooklyn Law School Moot Court wins award during international competition
It has been a successful spring semester for the Brooklyn Law School Moot Court Honor Society so far, and it was capped off with the Best Memorial Award at the Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition in Oxford, England earlier this month.
Four Brooklyn Law School (BLS) students, Elyssa Abuhoff, Erin Callihan, Jaime Freilich and Craig McAllister, competed in the 10th annual competition in England. They were coached by students Sebastian Asaro, Sung Kang, Taylor Lietz and Shieva Salehnia.
The Best Memorial Award is given for the best written submission out of 41 schools that entered the competition from around the globe. The team qualified for the international championship after a successful American regional in January.
