From Bay Ridge to Brooklyn Heights, winter storm Stella made rush hour a slippery mess for any commuter brave enough to venture outside. It may not have played out as the major storm that was predicted, but with the sleet and slush and howling wind it was still hard to navigate around the borough. The Court Street photos were taken during the height of rush hour with hardly a single soul walking or car passing by the normally crowded sidewalks and streets.
