Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States with great pomp on January 20, 2017.

Among those on hand to watch the inauguration in person were Dyker Heights residents Jerry and Janet Kassar and Fran Vella-Marrone, who shared some photos of the event with us.
