Cops seek ATM-skimming crooks wanted for larcenies in Brooklyn and Staten Island
The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating four individuals wanted for questioning in connection to grand larceny incidents that occurred throughout Staten Island and Brooklyn this month.
According to police, throughout the month of January, the four individuals used skimming devices to target ATMs at two different Northfield Bank locations in Staten Island and one in Bensonhurst, located at 6410 18th Avenue.
In each of the Staten Island incidents, which occurred within the confines of the 122nd Precinct, a man, described in all three instances as white, would tamper with a surveillance camera and install an electronic skimming device on the ATM.
