Investigation into BP Adams death threat continues

An investigation of a death threat against Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams is ongoing.
The threat was written in a letter received at Borough Hall on Friday.
According to the Daily News, the letter claimed that “well-trained” killers would assassinate Adams.
“We approach every threat in a serious manner,” said Stefan Ringel, communications director to BP Adams.
He added, “The letter was promptly reported to the NYPD, which is having its Intelligence Division investigate the matter.”
On Tuesday, an NYPD spokesperson told the Brooklyn Eagle that a report of aggravated harassment was being investigated.
“No one has a deeper appreciation than Borough President Adams for the safety and security risks we face in this city, and no one has a deeper admiration for the tireless work that New York’s Finest does to safeguard us either,” Ringel said of Adams, a former cop.
