Although the last day of summer isn’t technically until Sept. 22, thousands of partygoers will be flocking to the banks of New York Harbor this Sunday to celebrate the end of the season at Dirtybird BBQ.

Dirtybird BBQ is a one-of-a-kind traveling music festival and fair, hosted by record label Dirtybird, that boasts some of the music industry’s top DJs while also offering authentic barbecue grub.

This year’s event, which will take place at the Governor’s Club on Governors Island, will run from 3 p.m. to midnight and will feature activities like Best in Show contests and carnival games.

Tunes will be provided by Shiba San, Justin Martin, J.Philip, Christian Martin, Walker & Royce and of course the Dirtybird head honcho himself, Claude VonStroke, who was just named America’s Best DJ 2016 by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ.

Tickets range from $40 to $45, and for an additional $20, attendees will receive a full plate of barbecue fare, which includes one main dish and two sides. And for carousers who don’t eat meat, the event is offering a vegetarian option that includes a vegetarian main dish and two sides.

“Dirtybird started with a grill and some speakers in San Fran, and needless to say, they’ve spent the last 10-plus years expanding and perfecting their recipe for summer fun: good food, good people and some seriously saucy, booty-shaking tunes,” the record label wrote on its website.

Dirtybird BBQ has made stops this year in San Francisco, Seattle and Detroit, and it has an event planned for Miami soon.

Governors Island has played host to a plethora of different parties and concerts lately, including the recent Brooklyn Music Festival.
