9th Annual Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival to feature Neil deGrasse Tyson, Ilana Glazer among others
Events Slated for The Bell House, Union Hall
The Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival celebrates a close-knit comedy community while making fun of the trappings of mainstream comedy festivals. Now in its ninth year, the popular annual event will return with another lineup of shows from Thursday, Sept. 15 through Saturday, Sept. 17. The 2016 festival kicks off with “StarTalk Live!” at The Beacon Theatre in Manhattan and continues with comedy performances the next two nights at The Bell House and Union Hall in Brooklyn.
This year’s festival features namesake/curator/comedy host Eugene Mirman plus an all-star cast of guests, including Neil deGrasse Tyson, Jon Glaser, Chris Duffy, Aparna Nancherla, Ophira Eisenberg, Eliot Glazer, Ilana Glazer, Josh Gondelman, Hari Kondabolu, Jo Firestone, Marina Franklin, Sasheer Zamata, Kevin Barnett, Maeve Higgins and more to be announced, plus musicians and surprise guests.
