Betcha don’t know how to find the entrance to the Newtown Creek Nature Walk.

Unless you work at Time Warner Cable’s Greenpoint facility or the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, you probably haven’t been down to the edge of Paige Avenue.

Where the avenue dead-ends, there’s a stainless steel gate that serves as the entryway — and exit — for this unusual and interesting place.

It was built by the city Department of Environmental Protection. The designer was environmental sculptor George Trakas.

A word to the wise: Don’t drink too much tea before you set out on your visit. There are no public bathrooms. We’ll say it again: No. Public. Bathrooms.
