Trapeze time in south Bushwick

He floats through the air with the greatest of ease
The daring young man on the flying trapeze.
Exercise is soooo boring.
What better way to liven it up than to pretend you’re in training to join the circus?
We were traipsing around the streets of south Bushwick the other day, and came upon a signboard in front of a warehouse that said, “Get Circus Fit.”
Inside the warehouse, a sunlit space with a sky-high ceiling serves as the home of The Muse Brooklyn, a circus school for adults and children as young as 17 months old.
You can learn to dangle from swaths of silk or do breathtaking Acro-Yoga and Acro-Balance moves.
For instance, we saw Angela Buccinni, who owns The Muse, on top of a very tall ladder that her fiancé, acrobatics coach Yoni Kallai, was holding aloft.
And yes, there are trapeze classes.
Buccinni graciously allowed us to take photos.
By the way, she mentioned that she plans to open a café inside the school’s vast space within the next two months.
The building in which The Muse is located, 350 Moffat St., belongs to an LLC with Joseph Brunner as manager, city Finance Department records indicate. He’s a developer with properties in numerous Brooklyn neighborhoods.
