Famed actor Darren Criss performs in Fort Greene Park
Darren Criss appeared in Fort Greene Park for “Broadway in the Boros,” a series run by the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment.
Actor Darren Criss, known for his roles in the TV show “Glee” and the Broadway production of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch,” made a surprise appearance today in Fort Greene Park for “Broadway in the Boros,” an initiative run by the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment to bring free Broadway musical entertainment to neighborhoods around New York City.
Performers from the hit show “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” were also on hand to perform a medley of songs for the crowd.
The next free ‘Broadway in the Boros’ performance will take place on Friday, July 29 in Flushing Meadows Park, Queens.
