BROOKLYN — Area Kids Get Broad Experience: Local children began their free Fresh Air Fund summer experiences on June 30. The children boarded buses at the Port Authority to visit volunteer host families in rural, suburban and small town communities along the East Coast from North Carolina to Maine to Canada for one or two weeks.
