On Saturday, June 25, the Brooklyn Peaches put on a synchronized swim show extravaganza. They entertained the audience by swimming to the sounds of David Bowie and Prince.

The show raised almost $500 this year, with all proceeds benefitting the Dodge YMCA Annual Campaign.  The money raised directly impacts adults, children and families in the downtown Brooklyn community with scholarships for summer camp, swim lessons and membership.

The Brooklyn Peaches are a synchronized swim team that was formed in 2010, merging a love of aquatics and dance. They hold practices on Tuesday nights at the Dodge Y.  Dodge Y employees Nicole Feddock and Nicole Sciarrillo are the instructors and creators of this program. They teach a beginner’s class on Tuesdays from 8-9 p.m. and an advanced class from 7–8 p.m. Both Members & Community Members can sign up for the class.
