Seriously. Get rid of the graffiti already.

The owner of the former Ridgewood Masonic Temple at 1054 Bushwick Ave. needs to clean up the city landmark ASAP.

Here’s a new photo of this messy Bushwick (yes, that’s the neighborhood despite the building’s name) landmark.

The developer who’s planning to do a residential conversion of the Mason’s lodge got the go-ahead for his design from the city Landmarks Preservation Commission in January. Until he’s ready to start work on his project, he should try to be an adequate caretaker of the stately property.

At the same time, of course, there’s so much eye candy in the picturesque neighborhood. Fine old buildings, fine new murals, and this time of year, fine flowers, serve as an endless supply of subject matter for shutterbugs.
