NYPD officer sustains minor injuries after falling off motorcycle

An on-duty highway patrol sergeant suffered minor injuries earlier this afternoon after falling off his motorcycle, according to a police source.
According to the source, the officer was travelling eastbound on the Verrazano Bridge towards the Belt Parkway when the incident occurred.
Drivers should expect delays.
