Sure, the temperature’s going to be 70-something tomorrow in B’KLYN. But that’s no reason to waste today — when it’s a splendidly sunny 60 degrees — indoors.
Some visitors are eating ice cream or lunch. Others, in a show of virtue, are jogging. One woman’s letting her two dogs wade into the East River, though the water’s still winter-cold.
Depending on where they are in the park, people are snapping photos of the World Trade Center, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge — or the sunshine-yellow sculpture of the word “OY.”
Though on a day like today, there’s no need to feel the kind of vexation that merits this exclamation.
