The clock is ticking for college students majoring in journalism to apply for one of the coveted New York Press Association Foundation-sponsored paid summer internships.

With applications due March 1, aspiring print journalists have only a few days left to snag one of these competitive summer internships, which pay $2,500 for eight weeks of full-time work.

Students currently enrolled in a recognized journalism program are eligible. They must be attending college during the 2016-2017 academic year.

Interested students should go to nynewspapers.com, click on Member Services, then click on Internships to download an application and get further details about the program and what is required to apply.
