MARYLAND — Funeral Brings Masses: People attend the funeral services held in a parking lot at the Mountain Christian Church for Senior Deputy Patrick Dailey in Joppa on Wednesday. Dailey was shot and killed while responding to a complaint at an Abingdon restaurant. Senior Deputy Mark Logsdon was also slain before deputies killed the gunman.

PENNSYLVANIA — Troupe Performs: Joyce Woma, 27, of the Saakumu Dance Troupe from Ghana, performs an African dance on Wednesday at Penn State University’s Behrend campus in Harborcreek Township. The performance was part of Penn State Behrend’s “Rhythms of Life Series,” which features free cultural performances from all regions of the world.
