Man shot, killed outside of Surfside Houses

A 37-year-old man was shot in the head and killed on Sunday night outside of Coney Island’s Surfside Gardens Houses, according to cops.
Police responded to the call—indicating a man shot behind the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) complex at 2839 West 33 Street—at around 9:17 p.m. on January 17.
The 37-year-old was found with a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
