Staten Island woman missing since Saturday, last seen at Dyker Heights lights
UPDATE: A family member of Avallone’s e-mailed this paper early Monday morning to say that Roxanne had been found safe and sound Sunday night thanks to a tip from someone who had seen her photo and called Crimestoppers. The family member called the tipster “a true angel.”
A Staten Island woman who was separated from her family as they browsed the Dyker Heights holiday lights Saturday evening is still missing, according to cops.
According to police, Roxanne Avallone, 53, of Hecker Street in Tottenville, was last seen at around 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 12 near 84th Street and 11th Avenue, where crowds of people were gathered to enjoy the neighborhood’s popular holiday displays.
