Persaud opens senate district office

Roxanne Persaud, who won election to the New York State Senate in the 19th District on Nov. 3, has opened a district office at 1222 E 96th St. The office phone number is 718-649-7653.

The district includes Crown Heights, East Flatbush, Brownsville, Canarsie and Spring Towers.

Persaud formerly served as an assemblymember, representing the 59th Assembly District (AD), which covers Canarsie, Mill Basin, Bergen Beach and Gerritsen Beach.

The New York State Assembly will maintain a constituent service office for residents of the 59th AD at Persuad’s old office at 5318 Avenue N on a limited basis, according to officials.
