Man robs, threatens to open fire on Bay Ridge bank

Cops are looking to identify the man they say robbed and threatened to open fire on a Bay Ridge bank on Monday, December 7.

According to police, the suspect – described as a white man in his 40s – walked into an Investors Bank at 7123 Third Avenue at around 4:40 p.m. and demanded money.

Cops say the man, further described as being 5’8” in height and approximately 180 pounds, told the teller that if he wasn’t given the money, he would start shooting.

He fled on foot with approximately $6,400.
