INDIA — Rainfall Disrupts Life: A woman pushes a cart on the waterlogged Marina Beach after heavy rainfall in Chennai on Friday. Heavy rains lashed Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu state Friday, throwing life out of gear and disrupting train and flight schedules, and even dozens were killed in rain related incidents, according to news reports.

PERU — Citizens Call for Justice: Masked demonstrators toss fake money into the air during a demonstration against corruption in Lima on Thursday. Citizens joined the global campaign “Unmask the Corrupt,” launched by the non-governmental organization Transparency International, which calls for world leaders to stop corrupt politicians and business people from escaping justice.
