On Tuesday, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams cheered on the Mets during Game 1 of the World Series with his fellow baseball fans at Borough Hall.

Adams, an avid Mets fan himself, provided popcorn and entertained the crowd pre-game with a Mets trivia contest – handing out John Franco (former Mets star closer ) bobblehead dolls as prizes.

The event was part of an initiative put together by Adams and civil rights attorney Norman Siegel called Watch Together, Win Together. “Cheering as one community in one place strengthens the bonds that hold us together as a city, bonds that we often take for granted,” Adams said.
