Authorities have identified the second victim who died when a Brooklyn apartment building exploded last week.

New York City’s medical examiner identified the woman Thursday as Francisca Figueroa.

Authorities had initially believed the blast happened after a stove was removed from a gas line they thought might not have been properly disconnected.

But New York City Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro says investigators have now determined natural gas did not cause Saturday’s explosion that blew off the front of an apartment building in Brooklyn’s Borough Park neighborhood.

Nigro says the cause of the explosion is still under investigation but investigators know there was no gas flowing to the building’s second floor, where they believe the blast originated.

Another tenant, Ligia Puello, also died in the explosion.
