Maimonides celebrates participants of Summer Youth Employment Program

Maimonides Medical Center recently honored the participants of the Summer Youth Employment Program at a special recognition ceremony. The event celebrated the important contributions made by the 324 participants, whose efforts help Maimonides’ staff to provide great care for patients and their families, as well as the community.

Welcoming remarks were given by Pamela Brier, president and CEO at Maimonides; Dominick Stanzione, executive vice president and chief operating officer; and Douglas Jablon, senior vice president and special assistant to the president.

Additional highlights included a talent show featuring performances by Summer Youth volunteers, as well as guest speakers Councilmember Mark Treyger (District 47); Lynelle Mahon, director of programs at 1199SEIU Child Care Corporation; and Christopher Lewis, director of the Summer Youth Employment Program at NYC Department of Youth and Community Development.
