Renowned author Margaret Atwood to speak in Brooklyn Heights
Brooklyn BookBeat: Atwood Will Read From New Novel, ‘The Heart Goes Last’
Margaret Atwood, the acclaimed author of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “Oryx and Crake” and numerous other works, will come to St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights to share her new novel, “The Heart Goes Last” (Bloomsbury), on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. in the college’s Founders Hall (180 Remsen St.).
Atwood will appear in conversation with Buzzfeed Books’ editor Isaac Fitzgerald, the co-founder of Pen & Ink, and answer questions from the audience.
Tickets are free on a first-come, first-served basis. The line will form at 5 p.m., doors will open at 6 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m.
