August 19 was a triple bonus night for Brooklyn fans as the Cyclones gave away a Rosanna Scotto and Greg Kelly bobble head, and hosted the second annual Celebrity Softball Game as well as a “meet and greet” WWE SummerSlam Fest as a prelude to the upcoming weekend event at the Barclays Center.

Playing the charity game with members of the DSNY, FDNY and the NYPD, former New York Mets pitcher John Franco and “Good Morning New York” host Rosanna Scotto headed the two teams that entertained fans prior to the Cyclone-Spinner game.

Some of Scotto’s blue team’s luminaries consisted of co-host Greg Kelly, weatherman Mike Woods, U. S. Representative Peter King, and WWE wrestling stars Charlotte and Fandango, while Franco’s red team featured WFAN’s Craig Carten, Z100’s Dave Brody and Peggy O’Neill’s owner John Imbriale as well as WWE stars Eva Marie and Ryback.

Turnabout was fair play for Franco’s team this year, as his Reds beat the Scotto Blues. “Rosanna beat us last year,” said Franco. “Now we’re even!”
